Karen Letain
President and co-owner
CMI Inc.


President and co-owner, CMI Inc. Karen is responsible for creating and executing the core strategic business plan and driving new revenue opportunities. Before joining CMI Inc., Karen was Vice President Strategic Market Development for IP3 Inc., a Michigan-based IT Security Education company. Prior to IP3 she held the position of Vice President of Canadian Operations for Wave Thomson Learning, a division of the Thomson Corporation with revenues of $6 billion, and was responsible for producing and managing their successful IT training programs in Canada. Prior to her work at Thomson, she was Manager, Training and Certification programs and promoted to Director of professional services for Corel Corporation. Karen holds a Post Baccalaureate Degree in Educational Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
