Krista LaRiviere General Manager & Co-Founder Hot Banana

Krista LaRiviere, General Manager & Co-Founder Krista has led Hot Banana through sustained growth and consistent quarterly profitability from 1999-2006 and was recently named as a top ten finalist in the Business Development Bank of Canada's Young Entrepreneur Awards. Krista graduated with a BA in Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours). She also has a post-graduate diploma in Applied Information Technology. Krista uses her hands-on knowledge in management, technology and entrepreneurship to lead a high-performance team to identify and define strategic business needs and implement process- and technology-related solutions that dramatically improve business results and customers' experiences.

Since 1997, Krista has volunteered her time assisting in the management and entrepreneurship program of Shad Valley, a program for gifted high school students. Krista is also a proud and active Rotarian and a member of Women Entrepreneurs of Canada (WEC).
