Charity AffiliateThe CanWIT is pleased to announce that it has chosen The National Ovarian Cancer Association as its Charity of Choice.
The National Ovarian Cancer Association, since its founding in 1997, has undertaken some key initiatives that have dramatically contributed to the advancement and understanding of the issues surrounding ovarian cancer in Canada. Their groundbreaking programs, support of scientific research and nationwide awareness campaigns have changed the face of the disease, turning it from a "whisper" to a "roar".
The CanWIT is proud to introduce the establishment of a specific fund called the Maria de la Torre Fund in NOCA designed to raise awareness and support of this disease.
Please help to Turn up the Volume on Ovarian Cancer and join us as we participate in our 2nd Annual Walk for Hope on Sunday, September 10th, 2006 Preparations for a CanWIT Team are in progress, see Event details .
