Joanne is a Chartered Accountant who specializes in delivering tax incentives to her technology clients. She is an associate partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP and leads the research and development practice for BC. Her experience with technology clients crosses IT, software and hardware development and a broad spectrum of light manufacturers. As well, her resource based clients use technology to advance their business. She has a particular interest in advancing the careers of women in technology through development of a mutual support network and mentoring.

Joanne is married with three young adult sons, who are pursuing studies in science, engineering and mathematics respectively. She and her husband enjoy boating on the West Coast, travel and music.
