"Advancing your Career in High Tech" is the first event in the CATA WIT Ottawa Chapter Circle of Wisdom series. This series is intended as a warm and welcoming forum for developing a strong supportive network within the Ottawa community. Women at all stages of their career are invited to participate.

"Advancing your Career in High Tech" is being hosted at the home of Dr. Barbara Orser, Associate Professor, Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, with the help of Su Soloway, President, Soloway Consulting Inc., and member of the CATA WIT Ottawa Chapter Executive.

The event will begin with speakers providing a brief view of their experiences in succeeding in the high tech industry and recommendations on how to advance your career followed by an extensive Q&A period.

The speakers will include:: Robin McIntyre [bio], Regional President, Ottawa, Rogers Communications Inc., Barbara Callaghan [bio], Executive Coach and Leader, Dr. Barbara Orser [bio], Associate Professor, Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, and Ella Mar [bio], a long-time executive in the Ottawa region and co-chair of the CATA WIT Ottawa Chapter.

This intimate event is a great opportunity to gain insight into other career experiences, and to receive support in your own career challenges and prospects.

A light dinner will be served and there will be plenty of time to mingle and meet new contacts.
