Matching Opportunity with Talent:
Strategies to Build Careers & Organizations
Join the Ottawa chapter of CATA WIT for the next Circle of Wisdom session where women in all stages of their career participate to strengthen the network of women in the Ottawa IT community. This friendly event is a great opportunity to gain insight into career experiences, and receive support in your career prospects.
Participants in this session will focus on recognizing and matching their talents with career and organizational opportunities. Speakers will share their personal insights about recognizing and matching talent with career and organizational opportunities. The evening will also provide tips on building a personal mentoring network. And as always, we will encourage an interactive discussion to involve and inspire all the women looking for strategies to build their own career strengths.
This Circle of Wisdom is being hosted at the home of Dr. Barbara Orser [bio], Associate Professor, Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, with the help of Su Soloway, President, Soloway Consulting Inc., and member of the CATA WIT Ottawa Chapter Executive.
Session speakers will include Michelle Scarborough [bio], Vice President, Investment and Commercialization at the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI) and Lynda Partner [bio], President of In-Touch Survey Systems Inc. Dr. Barbara Orser Associate Professor, Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, will moderate the discussion and Q&A period.
A light dinner will be served and there will be plenty of time to mingle and meet new contacts.
