Peer-to-Peer Program
Join the Toronto chapter of CATA WIT for our new program focusing on mentoring for women in all stages of their career. This friendly approach to build a network of peers will spread over 8 sessions with the same group of participants. This way, women will have a real opportunity to develop a meaningful relationship with women in technology, to hear experts on specific subjects and discuss their perception as well as how they found ways to apply this new knowledge in their daily work.
This series of sessions is a great opportunity to gain insight into career experiences, and receive support in your career prospects.
Each session will be held in a public location where participants can relax and focus on their learning. The evening will also provide tips on building a personal mentoring network. And as always, we will encourage an interactive discussion to involve and inspire all the women looking for strategies to build their own career strengths.
First session speaker will be Donna Whitney, a leader of people, ideas and initiatives focusing on current business needs and future technology services. Donna has a passion for connecting people to people and business challenges to solutions. Her experience spans across corporate, telecommunications, technology, media, banking and not-for-profit industries.
Outside of Donna's professional role in Rogers she is also a member of; CATAWIT (board), CWC (GTA Regional Board chair), CWC (mentor), RWN (national governance committee), Futuresmart (mentor), Rogers mentorship (mentor), Words On Work (speaker), Keswick Christian Church (youth group leader), Keswick Christian Church (women's ministry leader).
In order to maintain an ambiance conducive to easy conversation, attendance is limited. Please register early to ensure a spot!
