Technology Gives Back Holiday Social in Partnership with United Way KW
December 14, 2011
There’s no time like the holidays to celebrate the joy of giving.
Join CanWIT Waterloo Region for a special one-hour social breakfast at The Kitchener Market Place on Wednesday, December 14 and hear our very special guest Jan Varner of the United Way Kitchener-Waterloo area discuss the role technology plays in supporting their mission, and learn more about how we can use technology to impact positive, sustainable change within our community.
Entrance to this very special event is free with your donation:
- Of a gently-used laptop to be redistributed by the United Way KW into the local community (please refer to the guidelines below), or;
- A cash or cheque donation towards the CanWIT Waterloo Region Bursary Program, to be distributed via two bursaries that will be awarded later this Spring to a secondary and post-secondary student!
