OTTAWA, Canada, January 10, 2006- The CATA WIT (Women in Technology) Forum is hosting a "Working from Home" professional development event, the next in the "Steps to Success for Women in Technology" series. The interactive panel discussion will address the new trend of women who are creatively trying to intertwine their professional life with family responsibilities.

"The CATA WIT Forum is dedicated to helping women who work for technology companies advance in their careers and succeed as entrepreneurs", says Terry Matthews, Mitel chairman. "This event is an excellent opportunity to learn from our community's most successful women on how to effectively manage and sustain a business or career from home."

A panel of accomplished women will share their experiences in establishing and operating a home-based office. Discussion topics will range from legalities, tax implications, and essential technology, to the daily challenges in working from home.The participants will also have an opportunity to discuss their own ideas, contribute to the discussion, and ask questions.
