You are invited to participate in a comprehensive, national study towards determining the impact the current state of the global economy is having on the everyday working environment of Canada's advanced technology companies.
Any employee within the high tech sector including ICT, defence, aerospace, energy and life sciences is encouraged to contribute to this study, which is attempting to measure the impact on critical workplace satisfaction issues in areas such as career advancement, access to training, performance management, retention, reward and recognition, and many others.
"There can be no question that today's economy is having a negative impact on more than just the availability of jobs," says CATA President John Reid, "but is also suspected of creating greater toxicity in the workplace as those left surviving in the wake of major lay-offs are left to battle more fiercely with their peers for limited, if any, opportunities for promotion, raises, and training."
With over a dozen study partners collaborating on this initiative, including government, academic and private sector organizations, this initiative promises to be one of the most far-reaching, timely, and comprehensive surveys related to the technology workplace environment in Canada today.
The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. A save progress feature is provided should you need multiple occasions to fully complete the survey. And all responses must be fully submitted by June 30th at 12:00 a.m. EST.
All participants will receive a complimentary copy of the Executive Summary of the report to be generated from this initiative, and may also choose to participate in a follow-up interview with members of the project team.
