It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the inaugural meeting of the BC chapter of the CATA WIT Forum.

CATA WIT (Women in Technology) Forum is a national organization that provides women in technology, bio-tech and high growth companies with knowledge and connections allowing them to advance in their careers and businesses.

This first meeting will provide you with an opportunity to discover the CATA WIT Forum program, shape the objectives for the BC chapter and, of course, network with other technology leaders from British Columbia.

Dr. Barbara Orser, University of Ottawa, will present the results of new research paper titled "Gender Challenges for Women in the Canadian Advanced Technology Sectors". The research explores gender barriers facing corporate managers and entrepreneurs in Canada and is being released at the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship Research Conference in Kelowna on November 2nd.
